Let's Clean It Up!

How about a few new, fun recipes with your Young Living Essential Oils & Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap! 

Homemade Baby Wipes

1/8 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lavender castile soap
4 drops tea tree oil
8 drops lavender oil
3 cups water

Or, you can spray it on and then wipe it off with a soft cloth.

**Dr. Bronner’s formulation is not tear free.  Use caution and don’t get into babies eyes.

Baby Bath

Dr. Bronner’s Baby Mild Castile Soap

A couple drops of YL Lavender Essential Oil

*Mix these in your own container.  You may need to shake it well every couple days to re-blend it.

Head Lice

Wash with Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap &  let sit for a while. 

Rinse with Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Run over hair with the straightening iron. 

Hardwood Floor Cleaner

1/3-1/2 c. of castile soap in a bucket of water.  Add a couple drops of Thieves EO or Thieves Household Cleaner to kill germs. You do not need to rinse. Of course you wouldn’t want to leave puddles on your wood, so dry mop if need be afterwards.

Makeup Brush Cleaner

Use a solution of Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap & a drop of Thieves EO.  

Rinse & Dry on a towel

Daily Shower Spray

50:50 Vinegar & Water

A drop or 2 of Thieves EO or Thieves Cleaner

(This is not a good method for showers composed of marble or travertine.  The acid in the Vinegar will cause etching)

Car Interior/Leather Cleaner

1/4 C Castile Soap in 1 qt. of water

Your leather may also need some nourishing. How about a Leather Polish?

Leather Polish

1/3 c Vinegar

2/3 c Olive Oil

Several drops of YL Lemon Essential Oil
